I first came across the gun in a old "Ashton-Kirk" mystery novel. Had to look up what an "automatic revolver" was.
The Webley-Fosbery was a favorite of British officers (who had to buy their sidearms) until the mud of the WWI trenches spotlighted the limitations of the design.
