And the feminization of parenting. Even in my family, I am criticized whenever my parenting takes a form that might actually stick in the adolescent mind. Wife and sisters and even mother still recall “feeling” uncomfortable whenever their father raised his voice. Funny, I recall it by thinking “yeah, he was right.”
