A lot of people left but will come back. They are pretty fickle about this issue.

A lot of people left and are done. They are never coming back. They fall into two groups for me. Group one: It’s principle. Group two is similar to the fickle group. They found that there is a lot of other stuff to do/experience/watch and this broke the NFL’s stranglehold on them.

The NFL will survive, but it will never be the same, for these and a lot of other reasons.

ESPN is in a ratings death spiral. Nothing will change that. They are reaching the point where they can’t pay the big bucks for exclusive sports contracts. Going “Woke” is a desperate, misguided attempt to increase ratings.

If I could get cable/satellite to remove ESPN from my menu I could probably save 10% of my bill as ESPN charges them a lot. I have no use for ESPN, none.
