I never understood the casting of Hayden Christensen. He was a wiry whiny petulant teenager who suddenly became the hugely powerful and manly man villain known as Darth Vader-—the transition just wasn’t credible, not even close.
The so-called love scenes between Christensen and Natalie Portman were just the worst. The dialogues in these scenes were eye-rolling DUMB and deserving of giant barf bags.
The prequels damaged the franchise, and Episodes VII and VIII killed it.
Star Wars can now be described as three generations of whiners wreaking havoc on a universe far, far away.
