The bantering between him and Linda and the rest of the crew is excruciating.
Not to mention his bragging about his martial arts skills and training with his sensei.

I used to get so mad at Bill when he had a guest and he asked a question and as the guest just begins to answer Bill jumps in and changes the topic.
If I am out and about I might hear some Rush and Sean. The good thing about Sean are his guests. They convey useful information. Sean doesn’t impress me much. He mainly regurgitates stuff you read online. If there is any dialogue going on between him and that Linda chick on the show I immediately turn it off as it is unlistenable.
Rush’s analysis is what separates him from the pack. Not always but sometimes he comes up with some really good stuff. However Rush is way over his head when it comes to technical subjects beyond the iphone.
I respect Sean for many reasons but totally agree with your characterizations. Painful.
