I think conservatives are so used to being slammed that we are TOO QUICK to trust people like Roseanne and Kanye West whose recent statements contradict their historic behavior.Tho a change of heart IS possible, how much more likely is it that they crave the attention and controversy and will say whatever it takes to get it? There IS a double standard-Maher/Barr-but it is obviously a greater sin to compare a person of color to a simian than it is to compare a Caucasian. The list of possible personal offenses is longer for one group than another.
Before championing Barr's 'support' of Trump, I think more should recall her long career that contradicts her 'support' of Trump and question her motives. Remember: Actors ACT. Perhaps all the time.
