Why do these people have to lie all the time? Call Me By Your Name was an arthouse movie, it cost 3.5 million to make and grossed 18 million. NOT a bomb. And given that there are about 200 movies a year released being 873rd on the all time list AIN’T measly.
Really, this an axe in a desperate search for a grind. Most of the gay movies are arthouse. They don’t make fat money, they have no intention of making fat money, doesn’t mean anything, they’re also made for no money.
We need to assert our religious beliefs and quit hiding!! These churches just want your money. They dont speak out!! To hell with them!!
True!!
They seek to normalize their behavior to achieve easier access to MOLEST YOUR CHILDREN! >http://www.patheos.com/blogs/warrenthrockmorton/2009/06/05/a-major-study-of-child-abuse-and-homosexuality-revisited/< On page 37, the other relevant result relates to men.
The 13th research question addressed, of homosexual men who have been molested, what percentage were molested before self-identification as homosexual men, and what percentage were molested after self-identification as homosexual? Of homosexual men who were molested, 68% were molested before self-identification as homosexual, and 32% were molested after self-identification as homosexual.
I am always interested to read your commentary. I worry that you are going to get yourself in trouble. You are a mensch.
Post of the thread.
Ive never seen Brockback . I didnt read the article . Are there other movies I havent seen ?
I am very tolerant of other peoples choices. I love freedom, even if what you want to do is something I dont care for.
I will watch a movie or show with gay or transgender characters. Ex. Billions. Great show. But I have zero interest in watching a show solely about homosexual relationship(s). Sorry. I just have other things Id rather watch.
She pisses and moans about the crappy connection wait times for streaming, maybe can talk her into dropping the online part.
I don't recall the movies (none were memorable blockbusters) but each one I looked in on had a gay subplot.
I believe even back then the Hollywood gay mafia was pushing for gay characters and gay themes.
I suspect some only got produced because they agreed to include gay themes.
I don’t think I had even heard of the other movies.
Maybe they were arthouse type movies, which don’t get wide release?
+1
It has become the “cool” thing in NYC high schools to be a flaming gay guy with earrings, eye makeup and a pronounced lisp. It’s almost like gays are heroes to be emulated, barf. Gay girls continue to do face swallowing sucky kisses in the hall and leaning your partner over backward. Double yuck. You never saw this kind of thing 15 years ago in schools.
Many older classic movies had homosexual sub themes.
2 of the most well known are Gilda made in 1941. Glenn Ford and Rita Hayworths husband have a covert homosexual relationship.
Another is The Maltese Facon 1946. Peter Lorre plays a homo in that one. Again - nothing overt.
[[Western culture is in the midst of a full-bore campaign to promote the full acceptance indeed, the celebration of non-marital sexual behavior, including homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism. H]]
as in the days of Noah
Nothing says Box Office as two men packing fudge.
I watched the last episode of season one of the Fugitive the other day. Towards the end, Richard Kimble hid in a house owned by two men who were obviously supposed to be a couple. They fought like they were married. One said, This is as much my house as it is yours! and said something similar about a car one allowed to be destroyed. The men were played by John McGiver and John Fiedler. McGiver was married, while Fiedler never was. I dont assume either were gay, but they both had gentle, urbane natures that could read that way.
It’s no wonder Heath Ledger committed suicide by dope, after being in that movie.
He probably got clean for a week and said “ I did what?”
