Scott Adams releases several talks throughout each day. I try to watch most of them.
Today he posits that the company that manufactures Ambien has made a massive mistake by issuing a statement that "Ambien does not cause racism". He contends that Ambien does cause people to do things they otherwise would not do.
And that the drug. is classified as a "hypnotic".
His take is that Roseanne may well have taken the drug and tweeted under its influence.
He also feels that the drug company may well open themselves up to problems by saying that their drug does not cause "racism"...
Here it is:

When will Sanofi tweet that Ambien may cause Trump Derangement Syndrome if used by the media?
this is a repeat of a post I did earlier.
I have surfed from insomnia for years and in the past have taken the medication...in fact I have years of experience with it ...the medication is a hypnotic and will affect the person by having them lock on an idea and eliminate or lessens there ability to see all the angles of what they are saying(tunnel vision) I believe she was correlating the madness of the movie planet of the apes and the insanity which is the doctrine of Hamas. I don’t think that she was thinking racially but instead concept of idea.....taking Ambien and trying to intellectualize is just not a good idea. think writing a paper and smoking pot... paper looks and sounds good when you write it but a week later when the professor gets done grading it that a paper that you were amazed at how good it was is the reason you have failed a course.
Maybe she could wear a neckbrace. It helped killer Teddy.
Doc prescribed me a 50 mg Xanax right before bed for sleep.
works pretty good.
I took Ambien for about 5 days in a row about 7 years ago.
Bad stuff, reminded me of heroin, especially when you wake up the next morning.
Had an insane cotton mouth going after the 4th day, asked my wife what she thought it was and she said it was an ambien side effect.
Threw the bottle away and haven’t touched it since, but the first night without it had insane dreams, incredibly vivid and frightening.
Woke up and immediately googled Ambien withdrawal, this stuff is dangerous, and doctors prescribe it like candy.
Xanax on the other hand is great at bedtime, relaxes and helps put you to sleep with zero side effects, and they have it listed as a controlled substance.
Something very wrong over at the FDA.
You mean a 0.5 MG.
50 Mg and you will be asleep for a week.
My wife didn’t care for the way she felt with Ambien.
FWIW, when she needs something for sleep, she’s happy with the way these work:

The most interesting man in the world can do both at the same time!
That bee-atch Amy Siskind is a real piece of work.
The few times I've taken it have been on long trans-Atlantic flights with business class bed-seats, and the occasional sleepless weekend night.
I do recall that in the early days of prescribing Ambien, doctors concluded that they were over-prescribing the dosage. People should only take half a pill, not the entire pill, for a typical night's sleep.

Yes, Benadryl makes me drowsy - which is why I take it at night for my allergies.
My wife has tried all sorts of things... she just doesn’t sleep that much... never did, even when she was a kid. The cats try to set a good example for her, but even that doesn’t help.
;-)
Ambien is a dangerous and harmful drug and it should be taken off the market and the manufacturer held liable.
I wonder what kind of deal these bastards made with the WASHINGTONIANS to peddle their poison for so long with no repercussions.
#Banambien
I can only hope that Roseanne sues them into oblivion.
Ambien and booze. Boy do I have some experiences. They had to be told to me however, as I had vague recollection at best.
Who makes Ambien?
Is that company run by leftists?
If so, “Ambien does not cause racism” is a lie.
Those are helpful for a lot of people, but that class of medications have the opposite effect on me, than intended. But thank you, anyway.
I’m glad it works, but just an FYI, I’m guessing it’s actually 0.50 mg., though. That’s the same dose I take. (A 50 mg. Dose would put down a herd of elephants). ;)
They seemed fine that it was listed as a cause of Vince Foster’s “suicide” - can’t make this crap up.....
