No doubt the hard working men and women of the Oakland Police Department appreciate this new policy by these nut jobs. I imagine Officers from Oakland PD would gladly help them remove the 9 and 1 buttons from all their phones, less problems for them.
They seem anxious to get back to a state of nature. My guess is it will be more Hobbesian than Rousseauian.
I don’t live in Oakland, but this person has a point.
They’ve militarized, and they’ve been criminalizing average otherwise law-abiding citizens to rack up fines that go to fund their pensions. They are driven to do so by their bosses.
When you ACTUALLY need them, they’re not around, which means you better be packing.
If more people were armed, and there were fewer police who were more helpful than revenue enhancing, then we’d like have a lower crime rate.
Oh, and if they actually enforce vagrancy, immigration, and drug use laws, then we’d REALLY be in pretty good shape.
They should be sure to post prominent “No Guns Allowed” signs on the outside.

We are living in Heinlein’s “Crazy Years” and the People’s Democratic Republic of California is on the leading edge of “Crazy.”

Good. I hope some non-White attacks them, and they do not call the police.
First Congregational began 158 years ago as small house church and has been in its current location since 1923. As the Bay Area became a center of leftist social movements in the 1960s and 1970s, the church became known as one of the most politically active in the region. Today, a Black Lives Matter banner hangs from the churchs facade. Inside its sanctuary, black and white banners spell out truth, freedom, justice, and equality. Its worship space features a memorial to black Americans who have died in police encounters or custody.
At most, a few dozen people usually show up for Sunday service. Members are largely lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer; about half are white. Its leaders are mostly women, many of whom work in nonprofits, social work and education. Because theres no paid pastor, members take turns preaching and make all decisions collectively. It took around two years of planning before announcing the police ban.
Sitting ducks.
Pure BS. These type of people call Five-O just like any other and maybe more than others.
LOL! Good luck with that.
Good thing they made a public announcement - helps the criminal element select day targets.
Man! There is just no way you could make this stuff up! That is one tough looking lantern jawed feminist they've got themselves there. I wonder if they got her passing the plate around during services. "I pity the poor fool who don't tithe right!"
hey if these people don't want to call the cops, go for it...
its called being vigilantes and usually these leftist commies condemn that if its done by right wingers....
More blacks kill whites and fellow blacks then all the cops in the country, and white people and cops are more often killed by blacks then the reverse...
I'd like to see these idiots get home invaded or car jacked or attacked or raped and then see their response to the cops.....
