Its an apples and oranges comparison--
Roseanne Barr was fired. None of the football kneelers were fired.
Roseanne Barr was also doing this on her own time. the football kneelers do their stuff when they are on the field. Nobody has ever said they couldn't tweet their black lives matter garbage on their own time.
Also it is uncertain that barr's behavior would have cost ABC any money, It is a known fact that the NFL kneelers cost the NFL a lot of money.
The NFL kneelers did their thing for a year. Roseanne Barr was fired in one day.

Don’t expect them to admit of even be able to admit to their double standard. They, who will circle the wagons at the drop of any hat to defend Leftists and will dismiss any sort of evidence, even officially dismiss it if they’re in office, that can be offered and yet chase after any accusation against the rest of us because the seriousness of those charges matters (and must be prosecuted if at all possible) crow endlessly about convictions they lust after even as they prevent them for their own.
They need to be destroyed, not gotten along with. Too bad the idiot Republicans in Congress don’t understand that they are an implacable enemy.
Patriotic Americans were (and still are) boycotting the NFL because of their rudeness toward our flag, our National Anthem, our military, our country, and our ancestors. We are okay with the thug/loser class boycotting Roseanne, if they have the energy to change the TV channel. Boycotts are all about our individual right to decide what we support or reject.
We are okay with the losers boycotting the NFL over the new Anthem policy (especially since that will leave the treasonous league with no fans at all). We are okay with the sissies boycotting ABC if it changes the decision and keeps Roseanne. Boycotts are not the same as government censorship.
Everything from Occupy Democrats is that way. My sister constantly posts there crap.
Barr deserves far more punishment than just losing her show. Her insult of The Planet of the Apes is unforgivable.

Maybe Kamera Hogg can lead the movement to getting “monkey bars” banned from school playgrounds.
Her producer Tom Werner also produced The Cosby Show. Werner is head of the Boston Red Sox, who are owned by John Henry.
Henry also owns the Boston Globe.They were successful in getting the name of the street Fenway Park is on, Yawkey Way changed
because of “Yawkey was a racist” (it reverted to Jersey St. The earl of Jersey owned slaves but nobody minds).
Henry and Werner are both liberals.There are pictures of them helping to campaign for Kerry in ‘04.Team won its first World Series in 86 years that year.But Kerry did not relocate to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Werner has said he supported ABC’s decision to cancel the show.But since he worked with the likes of Barr and Cosby, I wonder if there will be calls to boycott the Boston Red Sox?
(Werner was with the SD Padres in the 90s and got Barr to do a screeching rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at a game..
Maybe Fox can pick up her show, too. They are already going to pick up Last Man Standing that ABC had canned even though it was the highest rated show. Progressives have all the emotional maturity of 12-year-old girls.
