Oh c'mon, Elon Musk.. You can make a near perfect reverse landing of a massive first stage booster rocket on a tiny drone ship out in the middle of the ocean but you can't make a car negotiate light traffic?

The other day on the freeway, a Tesla approached from behind in heavy traffic at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic without slowing down.. Was this IDIOT in auto pilot going on a suicide mission?

I would guess with the booster landing upright, there are less variables, wind, platform movement, rocket sequence etc and it seems they've nearly perfected it or almost.

But on highways, I would guess the variables could be endless.

Btw, were going to see a lot more of these collisions with these vehicles. I would guess with a near perfect system, a new car would have to be prohibitively priced.

I will never own one as I trust no one in control of a vehicle but me.
