How do you know it was for big dollars?
Did Uber admit fault or did they settle for the same reasons that many businesses settle out of court?
Why would they settle at all if they were not at fault in regards to the death of the pedestrian? Don’t these companies have conga-lines of attorneys?
Look, anytime ya get big companies involved in regards to fatalities, it generally means they settled for big league bucks. That’s why they want to keep the settlements secret, or undisclosed. It makes the investors really uncomfortable etc, etc.
