After a racist tweet by Roseanne Barr that created an outcry online, reruns of the Roseanne revival scheduled to air on Viacom networks Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT will be pulled from their respective schedules.
Roseanne reruns will be canceled on the three channels starting Wednesday, a Viacom spokesperson said.
Later on Tuesday a Hulu spokesperson also confirmed that the streaming platform would be dropping the show, writing, "We support ABC’s decision and are removing the show from Hulu."
The Laff broadcast network Tuesday announced that it would be dropping reruns of the original series, which ran from 1988-97 on ABC. "While we believe viewers have always distinguished the personal behavior of the actress Roseanne Barr from the television character Roseanne Connor, we are disgusted by Barr’s comments this week. Therefore, we are removing the original Roseanne series from the Laff schedule for the time being, effective immediately," Laff said in a statement.

Our stupid cable company went all digital. Tv will only work with a box. I woke up a little over a month ago and 3 of our TVs wouldn’t work. I called them. You need a box on each tv now. The first one is free but every one after that is $5 (?) per month. I told them to stick it you nowhere. That they’re not getting anymore money from me and went and bought antennas. One of the stations I get is Laff and they play the Roseanne show all the time. Was just wondering if they’ll pull it.

If you have high-speed internet in your region, get that instead. If you are low-income, they should offer a huge discount. Here in Seattle, low/fixed income people can get high-speed unlimited internet for $9.99 a month, kid you not.
If Comcast or whoever offer high-speed internet in our area, THEY WILL TRY TO SELL YOU BUNDLED SERVICES, like phone and TV programming (HBO, PBS, etc.)

Get only high-speed internet. You can get pretty much all you need to watch or enjoy with high-speed internet alone.

Roseanne Barr makes a tweet and her show is canceled within hours and the ABC President releases a statement denouncing Roseanne Barr. The offensive tweet was not made on company time and there was no urgency to immediately cancel the show since the 1st season had just completed.
Joy Behar and Roseanne Barr were not equally treated. Joy’s offensive was much worst since it was done on live television and anti-Christian violence is spreading around the world.
I would be very surprised if Lachlan Murdoch; Czar of Fox News would be in favor of putting Roseanne back on the air after today. Lach and his brother James are known for being as liberal as their dad Rupert was conservative.
Lach would first ask ‘the little woman’ what her friends might say if he put that series back on the air.
