Hopefully, the employee is not fired. Many companies stupidly prohibit their employees from repelling robbery attempts on the company. If Little Caesar's is dumb enough to fire the guy after he takes a beating and acts to save his own life, then they deserve to be driven out of business.
They oughtta reward him. Hell if they do reward him I'll order a few of their crappy pizza's just to say thank you!
