You are correct, she seldom crashes and has one of the highest finishing ratios in Indy Car Racing. Many drivers got loose and spun in that corner today.
The headline makes it seem as if Patrick was ever a factor to win the race. She was as much of a factor as she was in her NASCAR career. Honestly, had she stayed in open wheel, she may have legitimately won some races

The track was awfully greasy and at least two other drivers spun out into the wall. Glad she wasn’t hurt.
