Last update I saw he was almost 2 minutes in the hole with a week to go. He had to make up almost half a minute per stage this week to catch up, let alone win.

I'm sure there will be the usual "doper" charges, and they may be true. But if he did this without chemical assistance, he's in a class of his own ... even if he's one of the ugliest riders to ever grace the peloton.
