When I worked at McDonlds in the 1970’s, the Quarter Pounder and Quarter Pounder with cheese were separate menu items priced differently.

I remember that.

I never liked what McDonald's calls "cheese."

But 20 or 30 years ago they decided everything needed it.

"Cheese" on a fish sandwich or McGriddle is enough to gag me.
