Exclusive: Carter Page: The FBI ruined my life

... cost him business, income and even his girlfriend.

Page tells The Post that during the media barrage he faced in late 2016, he visited his girlfriend at her London flat, where she was “freaking out with the fake news about me.”

“Talking with her later in the evening after dinner, she told me that she didn’t want me staying there anymore, and that our relationship was over.

“So late that night,” Page continued, “I booked a last-minute hotel reservation as part of this early chapter of the redefinition of my life.”

Page believes the FBI’s mole, professor Stefan Halper, was secretly spying on him as part of a “politically motivated” investigation of Team Trump, using fake sympathy to gain his trust — all while fishing for dirt on Page’s ties to Russia, where he’d worked as an energy consultant.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out to be a trap,” Page said.

Halper contacted Page in early July 2016, weeks before the FBI claims it first opened an investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia.

The timing is significant because if Halper was being used as an informant before a case had been officially opened, it raises the possibility the Trump campaign was spied on for political — not law enforcement — reasons.

Page believes that’s exactly what happened, and agrees with the president’s characterization of the scandal as “Spygate.”...

“It makes you wonder if the FBI is willing to screw the president, how many innocent nobodies have they screwed over the years?”

Exactly.

I was thinking about how concerned our military has to be to avoid doing anything that could potentially be construed as outside of the ROE, even if it puts American lives at risk. They operate under strict rules in settings in which their own lives are put at risk for our nation. Why should we tolerate having rogue intelligence agencies that operate only under their own rules, for advancement of their own agenda, and who even refuse to comply with requests for information by our elected representatives in Congress? To tolerate this is essentially tolerating the end of America as the founders envisioned it, and as we have known and loved.

Base gun is close to 11 pounds. The 50 round drum runs a little over two and a half pounds loaded; the 100 is probably between 5 and 6. So say just under 17 pounds, but packing a lot of partying. in the package.

In any event, they tend to walk up unless the shooter knows what they’re doing, so the extra weight might be a good thing to help hold the muzzle down.

“I go back and forth about Page.”

I agree with you. I do not know what to make of Carter Page.

I believe Manafort was dirty too. Irony that Podesta worked with Pro Russia Ukrainians just as Manafort was. All the critters converged on Trump

Truly amazing about the FBI and CIA, is when Government, e.g. Congress, creates a new Department with a noble name, then half the populous believe and trust that is its purpose. Instead the true purpose of Big Spending, of a Government group is first and foremost to PROTECT THE CLUB.

They protect their funding.

The FBI has a serial string of innocent dissidents wrongfully accused in prison.
The FBI fraudulent practices are PUBLIC now for everyone to see, UNLAWFUL PROCESS FAKE CRIMES.
