I have seen a lot of comments on those cellist’s videos about how well death metal and classical music cross over to each other. Apparently its a thing.

Nice and tasty. The bends are unexpected in places which gives it a interestingly new quality — phrasing I haven’t heard before (I don’t think). I know Malmsteen and Gilbert probably have done this kind of thing — as countless other metal heads — but this is not just an exercise in running scales and sweeps, but has a cool melody. Well done!
