I am certain that CF is on it’s way out. And they need to police their waitstaff more closely. I took my cousin out to celebrate Mother’s Day a couple of days late. She had given me a gift card for Christmas and I brought it, but didn’t want her to know that it was the same one she gave. It was for an amount not usually on the card. When I gave it to the waiter, I said ‘I’m not sure exactly how much is left on this card’. (Even thought I did). When he brought it back, he had only taken off $25, for the card. I was shocked but thought maybe I had brought a card only worth $25. And he also didn’t bring my original card back with him. I thought maybe I had picked up one at home that only had $25 on it, so didn’t say anything. But when I got home, nope, I had picked up the one that had more money on it. I didn’t do anything about it because, how could I prove anything. But I won’t be frequenting that CF anymore. Sleazy waitstaff is just the beginning......bye-bye CF. You were good for a while, but now you just suck.

You should go back and let the manager know. The waiter is a thief, and should be fired. And speaking of thieves, a waitress told me once, never leave the tip area on a credit or debit receipt blank, if you left the tip on the table. always draw a line through it and write the total on the space where you would write the total, had you left a tip. She said some waitstaff would add in an amount after you leave, and steal it.
