Since the late 1950s the solar cycles has been mostly in decline, unexceptional maximums, and long minimums. Those involved in high frequency radio communications such as ham radio operators or radio professionals have been well aware of the fact for years.

Yes, I’m a ham and it peaked in the ‘60s and has continually dropped since. It’s bottomed out, and considering past trends, may stay that way for several cycles.

Many of these low-cycles correspond with heavy volcanic activity, which spew particulates into the atmosphere that further cool the earth. Furthermore, the rise in the ocean has stopped the last two years, and arctic ice, while not growing in area, has grown in depth exponentially. Things are changing, albeit slowly.
