If you have watched Supergirl its clear that the show is propaganda for pro immigrant, pro cross-race sex, pro gay and transgender, pro diversity in the work place. There are hot lesbians making out. Every story line revolves around a villain who hates humans or non-humans. No more are villains just trying to take over the world or make a lot of money, they now have to eradicate some species.

Dr. Who may have some of the same issues. But at least they have good characters on most sides of an issue. And daleks still want to exterminate everyone no matter how trans they are.

Well, Supergirl certainly is all of those things post-Season 2/post-move to the CW, I’ll give you that. However, in the first season, back when it aired on CBS, you could make the case of it promoting national borders and condemning illegal immigration (since most of the episodes dealt with arresting literal illegal aliens who were causing various crimes. Heck, the entire point behind the DEO was essentially ICE/Border Patrol regarding aliens.). As far as homosexuality, the only time in season 1 where it was even discussed under any capacity was in the first episode when Winn asked if Kara was coming out as a lesbian, and even there she denied it with some bemusement (remember, Alex during season 1 was still straight, this was before season 2’s infamous decision to turn her gay for no real reason). And other than maybe changing Jimmy Olsen into a black person, they really don’t discuss diversity much (in fact, ironically, the Flash crossover episodes for that season actually has Cat Grant bashing the CW’s tendency to rely on pro-diversity themes for its various shows when meeting Flash, Olsen, Danvers, and Winn in her office). Heck, the main villains of the first season, which were the extremist group composed of Kara’s aunt and uncle and some Kryptonians, actually had the Project Meridia victims parrot the leftist party agenda line, which actually gave a condemnation to the left if you really think about it. Heck, the only villains with explicit desires towards genocide in Season 1 were the White Martians, and to a lesser extent Braniac 7, and even there, the White Martians solely wanted to exterminate Green Martians, not really caring about anyone else unless they got in the way, so it’s more non-humans wanting to exterminate other non-humans rather than a human/non-human divide, and as for Braniac 7, she was an explicit psychopath who simply wanted a lot of people, regardless of species, dead, and was so dangerous that even Kara’s uncle was wary of her, and only resorted to her plan of just blowing up people’s brains as a last resort after their initial plan of brainwashing the earth failed. Plus, aside from all of the above, there’s actually a surprising anti-abortion/anti-feminist message in one episode, where Cat Grant actually expresses remorse for choosing a career over her kid (and she didn’t even have an abortion either, since she meets him for what we assume is the first time since putting him into adoption), and Kara ultimately agrees with her and suggests she go see her son. Like I said before, the feminists, especially those of the Betty Friedan/NOW stripe, would probably have tarred and feathered Cat Grant for even having any remorse or second thoughts to choosing a career, let alone doing so regarding her kid. That’s why I get irritated when people claim that Season 1 Cat Grant was a Clintonista (true Clintonistas would be the types to follow the NOW group in lockstep, as Hillary Clinton notoriously put down women being homemakers a while back).
