Charlize Theron has been set to play Megyn Kelly in Annapurna Pictures untitled movie that will focus on the women of Fox News Channel who worked there during the tenure of Roger Ailes, the chairman and network architect who resigned in 2016 amid a sexual and workplace harassment scandal. Jay Roach is directing the pic written by The Big Short scribe Charles Randolph in a project that has been in the works since before Ailes death a year ago. It will feature an ensemble cast with characters portraying Ailes and those at FNC during the scandal, which began when exhost Gretchen Carlson filed her $20 million sexual harassment lawsuit against Ailes.
No other casting is set at this point, we hear, and no start date has been set.
I’m mostly interested how they tell the truth about O’Reilly without being sued. Although the movie will no doubt be more about Carlson and her lawsuit against Ailes since Megyn didnt do anything particularly notable except not realize she was even being harassed until he had her in the office up against his desk.
He don’t have any.
There is no need for this movie. Might as well do one on Harvey Weinstein and on Bill Clinton. Charlize is a lefty and once dated Spiccoli a.k.a. Sean Penn. More recently she said she is worried about the racism and bigotry in America and may leave since she adopted some black kid who she feels would be better off in Canada or Australia or her South Africa or something.
She is very good looking but like Alyssa Milano is very misguided.
Seems more like a Lifetime move of the week.
