if you care to click through what remains of the salvage images, you’ll find the items you refer to as illustrations of evidence of frogman activities, are items from the aircraft brought up in the salvage operation. One appears to be the exhaust attachment torn from its fuselage fastening, the other would more likely have been part of the luggage compartment interior.
You see the buckle and the same wavy pattern on the high-tech, classified SEAL Team component in the image posted by rx.
