Who is a natural-born citizen? Who, in other words, is a citizen at birth, such that that person can be a President someday?”
It was understood at the time the Constitution was written and signed, and for almost 200 years after, that Natural Born Citizen meant “born on US soil with 2 citizen parents”.
Only in the last 3 or so decades has that been muddied up.
