...The left, despite conventional wisdom, has no monopoly on Alinsky's rules. Instead these rules can be used by the right, also as blueprint for effecting change.
The dirty little secret is that Alinsky has little in common with modern leftists. As Ralph Benko writes, "Alinsky was an aggressively anti-communist, anti-big government, populist with a healthy contempt for liberals." He would more likely be found at a Tea Party rally wearing a MAGA hat than at a resistance march wearing a pink pussy hat. ...
President Trump, knowingly or unknowingly, has co-opted Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, using them effectively to advance his agenda. How ironic that the tactics of the left are being used against the leftists themselves. The left knows the rules only for playing offense. Now that the rules are being used against it, it is at a loss as to how to react and respond.
For Trump-supporters, typically being on the losing end of Alinsky's rules, it's a refreshing treat to finally be on offense, scoring touchdowns, leaving Democrats and NeverTrumps babbling and unable to stop or slow the Trump train.

Yeah, that’s a new twist on Alinsky. Not buying it, fake news?
I admit I never read RFR or anything about Alinsky. I’m more into Rand and Sun Tzu.
Fantastic article. Thanks so much for posting.
The best defense is a good offense. Trump is taking it to them.
This message is easy to understand, including by the American people, who can smell John Kerry's nonsensical diplomatic-speak from a mile away.
The elites have for too long gotten away with spewing nonsensical rhetoric and pretending to be doing things. But Trump, a man of action, has exposed them all for the frauds that they are.
Who is Stefan Molyneux? P
Alinsky was just some anti-establishment troll who organized to disrupt and received power (Not political but ego and cultural)/recognition out of that.
Alinsky lifted everything he is credited for off of Vladimir “Lenin” who was also deemed a Communists, but only used that ideology to sucker people into giving him and his gang (Bolsheviks) political power.
This is a good one... there aren’t 20 ‘takes’ on the subject by the liberal media... so posting twice might be a good idea.
You’re right Starboard...
That floored me. In the category of looking up in the sky for pigs.
Excellent hint. I don’t do that, but I will try in the future.
I found that liberals don’t know how to attack me, because I never feel bad or guilty about the supposed conservative shortcomings.
All they can do, after a while, is report me to Facebook and I serve a short sentence once in a while.
I gave you the link to my quote. If discoverthenetworks.org’s established reputation is not enough it gives you links to the people is quoted. If that’s not enough - you can’t want to know very much.
So what is your point?
Thanks for posting a second time. Many of us did not see the first one. The big shot, duplicate posting Nazis are here for name recognition and to piss off the rest of us.
So you are saying you dont know? How lazy to quote someone you know nothing about.
“I like multiple posts. I wish there were more of them.”
I agree. I don’t get to spend my day here so I miss a lot of good stuff that is only posted once or twice.
I don’t for a minute believe Alinsky was right leaning. Even his book title “Rules for Radicals” implies leftism. “Radicals” are generally leftists historically but I suppose it would depend on which side of the fence one was viewing them. To the British the newly minted American colonialists were radicals wanting to break away from England.
I’ll keep my mind open about this but will want much corroboration. In the meantime the gist of the Op-Ed is fun to think about. Who doesn’t like to see the class bullies (the dems and never Trumpers) getting a dose of their own medicine?
Stefan Molyneux is a Canadian YouTube personality and philosopher.

If it had already been posted, you would have been able to find a link to post.
Put up or shut up.
