Netflix has set Jennifer Aniston to play the U.S. president, and Tig Notaro her first lady in First Ladies, a political comedy being written by Notaro and Stephanie Allynne, based on their original pitch. This ones not your usual White House comedy. First Ladies is a political comedy about Americas first female President and her wife, The First Lady. When Beverly and Kasey Nicholson move into the White House, theyll prove that behind every great woman is another great woman.

First Ladies expands Notaros relationship with Netflix. Her original comedy special Tig Notaro Happy to Be Here debuts May 22 on Netflix. Notaro will also direct Ellen DeGeneres upcoming Netflix original comedy special.

Hmm...the ones that come to mind:
“Mr. President” with George C. Scott - it was horrible.
I don’t know what the title of it was but there was a Nixon comedy some years ago - I saw the end of it while channel surfing. It looked like it might have been OK.
“D.C. Follies” - back in the 1980’s - not exactly a White House comedy but it featured puppets of Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan - not bad.
