I can just say his people and especially his soldiers LOVE him and are willing to fight for their country. They really believe Assad is good for their country.

They have lost several men these last days and they are finding mass graves as they go into the mountains and having people come back to their towns after ISIS has left. It's why I having been posting because there are several of their buddies and family dying these last few days cleaning the areas. Sad post.

Well, Assad protected the Christians. And his opposition was created by HRC/Obama/McCain. A splinter of that became ISIS.

So I am starting to warm to the idea Assad may be a white hat.

Then Iran took advantage and moved forces into Syria as another front against Israel.

And of course Russia is seeking to fill the vacuum left by Obama in the region.

I have never been convinced that the chemical attacks originated with Assad. They NEVER seem to benefit him strategically.

So ... jury is still out.
