Because MY Congressman is fine only YOUR congressman needs to go. People who know how to win elections are almost the only ones who get those jobs.

In 1978, the Jarvis-Gann-Stockman "starve the beast" hypothesis was at least credible - but none of them understood, having grown up with gold and silver money, that the potential for vote-buying with debt taht no one expected to pay back would turn out to be as big as it has.
Any Member of Congress who votes to cut spending - IF there is any chance that his vote will make a difference - is dead meat at the next election.
We need a break from the voting while adults sort out the money, the interest rates, the spending, and the taxation structure to support it.
Good way to put it. Georgia is going thru primary’s for Governor. The Dem in the race is, I don’t even know how to describe her, other than she’s black, female, a Sanders type, socialist, BLM type, we need reparations, type candidate. She’ll win Fulton, Dekalb, Savannah and Augusta.
However, on the Republican side, we have 3 Corporate Hack, RINOs(Cagle, Kemp, Hill) and one Conservative(Williamson). Cagle is Lt Gov and is in the change pocket of all the special interests in the state, the builders, developers, farmers. Williamson was the FIRST state level politician to publicly endorse Candidate Trump. He is being attacked for his campaign tour, riding around in his, Deportation Bus.

Unfortunately, he isn’t getting much support. And I’d be willing to bet that if any of us sat around the kitchen tables of pretty much all of the Republican voters in Georgia, they would say they support the President, want the wall, want deportations, want to get rid of MS13, want to curb illegal immigration. But, they’ll all press the screen for the Establishment, special interest RINO, who will lead us down the same path.

Rand Paul just put forth his, Penny Plan, that would balance the budget in 5 yrs. 21 votes for it. Granted, I’m surprised at that many, but 21 votes from the: Small government, low taxes, decrease spending Republicans in the US Senate.
Just to be clear, Trump was for it, then against it - but signed it anyway. He’s also done some reading between the lines that aspects of National Security apply to the “wall” - and is making progress on that front and others as well.

I have no problem telling you, I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.
If you’re going to rag on the senators, you might as well rag on Trump too - as he was for it, and signed the Omnibus bill. He threatened to veto it, but he didn’t. However, it’s politics, and compromises sometimes need to be made. And I think Trump has been using some of the fine print of the bill to turn things his way.
NC Rep Pittenger (to a conservative pastor), and AL Rep Roby (to a former Democrat... this one is not official yet, but the runoff in July doesn't look good for Ms Roby).
