So, I'm going to try to round up the most interesting "non-Q" news stories that support the general Q narrative, but are not based on his crumbs, but on the many independent investigative threads going on. This isn't anti-Q, it's supplemental. It's all about Mueller and the false Russia narrative.

I'll start with this thread from the Conservative Treehouse, which is the leading web site deconstructing the Mueller investigation with detailed analysis, that I am aware of.

Their most recent story is Investigative Report: Brennan Used FBI Agent Peter Strzok as Author For Intelligence Community Assessment and Placed Dossier Material into Obama’s Daily Briefing….

The title really does say it all, there seems to be a developing consensus that Brennan may have been the most central figure in the phony Russia narrative creation. He was certainly in the right place to do something like that.

It's a very worthwhile story. It's sort of long and meandering like a lot of Sundance's writing, but worth the effort.

Over at National Review former Federal Prosecutor Andrew Sullivan continues to investigate the investigation, and find interesting stuff. His latest article is here: Retracting the Retraction: Fusion's Simpson Stands by Testimony that FBI had a Spy in Trump CampaignHere's the punch line: Here is the letter from Simpson's lawyer

I am writing in response to your letter, dated January 11, 2018, in which you have asked about the August 22, 2017 testimony from our client Glenn Simpson that Christopher Steele in the fall of 2016 said he believed the FBI had another source within the Trump organization/campaign. Mr. Simpson stands by his testimony.

I guess that's the blockbuster story of the last week, that the FBI had a human source inside the Trump campaign. Lots of people have speculated who it is, at length. The FBI is still holding out on telling Nunes who it was.

The Gateway Pundit has taken to writing stories about what people say on on various Fox News shows, which is interesting, and saves time over watching them. Here is their most recent one: Joe Digenova: Former CIA Chief John Brennan Was Leading the Counter Intelligence Operation Against Trump (VIDEO)

Former US Attorney Joe DiGenova joined Laura Ingraham Tuesday night on The Ingraham Angle to discuss the latest developments in Mueller Special Counsel witch hunt.

Joe DiGenova told Laura that former CIA Chief John Brennan was the head of the group of people who were creating the fake counter intelligence investigation of Donald Trump.

Finally American Thinker is getting in on the story with this article: The Office of Net Assessment paid Stefan Halper...why?

Stephen Halper is a British academic with long ties to the CIA and MI6, and is suspected of being the person who set up both Papadapolis and Carter Page, by telling them stories about Russia. If it turns out all the Russia stuff traces back to him, and he was working the CIA at the time, then we will have reached closure on Russia-Gate: It was all a plot, apparently masterminded by Brennan and using the "small group" (Treehouse terminology) inside the FBI Counter Intelligence Group as the main foot soldiers doing the dirty work of fabricating evidence, leaking and getting the FISA Warrent. McCabe, Strzok, and Page were all involved.

All this lends credence to the suspicions that Stefan Halper was paid to meddle in the Trump campaign in order to help Hillary and defeat Trump, if not to bolster Steele's spurious claims upon which the DOJ and FBI relied in getting a FISA warrant.

Andrew McCarthy of National Review again, read a huge number of the Strzok-Page text messages, and this led him to better understand the origin of the whole Russia gate conspiracy. He explains that here: The Strzok-Page Texts and the Origins of the Trump-Russia Investigation

Strzok and Page are singularly well-informed, central players in the Clinton and Trump investigations. They tell us exactly what is going on and why — or at least they would if the Justice Department had not blacked out key parts of their running conversation.

Thanks mostly to the dogged work of Senator Ron Johnson (R., Wis.), who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, hundreds of pages of the Strzok-Page texts have been released publicly — trust me on that: I am bleary-eyed from a weekend of reading about half of them. Even in their heavily redacted form, they are a goldmine of insight.

We seem to have a convergence of views on this, that I think would be fair to call a breakthrough on the origin of the Russia narrative.

It will be very interesting to see what Nunes says after he is given the name. (Besides Stefan Halper, Carter Page has been suggested by some as the mole.)
