Yes. The current state of hemophilia therapy lives in the shadow of the tainted blood fiasco (hepatitis and HIV) that killed off almost an entire generation of hemophilia patients.
BJC got blood from prisoners in Arkansas and sold it to Canada Red Cross, I think. Lots of infection from prisoners’ tainted blood.
