I don’t understand what motivates people to do this to make a living.

You don’t understand money?
Three reasons:
1. It is not morally repugnant to them.
2. There are a lot of women with a high sex drive that might even like it, at least at first or sometimes.
3. It pays well.
When you have no skills or you’re not very bright, and you are fatherless or parentless, with no moral compass, I can see a young woman getting into this sort of thing.
It used to mean LOTS of $$$$$$$ but not so much anymore once streaming video came on the market.
I suspect Stormy (now well past her prime and way out of shape) was trying to dig herself out of a financial hole and someone suggested this would work.
Pretty simple to understand... money and attention.

If you lack morals and are reasonably attractive (or can be surgically altered to appear sexy), it’s an easy way to a six/seven figure salary with zero education and training.
It’s not like many of these “ladies” were going to be heads of industry/doctors/lawyers.
It pays a lot of money to people who are too dysfunctional to work at anything else that paid anywhere close to the same salary.
I want to give a chit but seriously? When you do nasty stuff in front of an entire production crew to be distributed online to the general public you make yourself a target. Porn people are pretty scummy.
