And the school district is clearly and blatantly lying to cover their butts. First they say that the tiger was "only displayed for a few minutes", but then say that it was lying down facing away from the crowd for the "majority of the time"...

Watching just that short news video clip, the tiger was clearly agitated early on, and the cage is clearly in the background for multiple performers. "A few minutes" is likely more than 30-45 min, if not more. A wild animal does not go from agitated to lying down in any short amount of time.

The bird displays, and the animals with handlers, would have been fine in a separate area of the convention center, away from all of the noise and fire and flashing lights etc... but the entitled parents of the entitled children want their fantasy moments, no matter what. Some people are just stupid beyond measure.
