Dicks Sporting Goods has just lost a ton of business due to its politically correct gun control move, post-Parkland school shooting.
O.F. Mossberg & Sons Inc., which owns Mossberg guns, announced they would no longer deal with Dicks. And that was just after MKS Supply, the maker of Hi-Point firearms, and Springfield Armory pulled business from Dicks as well.
The backlash is hardly surprising. Mess with Americans guns and Americans will use their voices via purchasing power to mess back. Dicks made a sorry misstep in the wake of the horrific Parkland shooting by announcing the end of sales of assault-style weapons at all of its stores, and a new ban on sales of certain types of firearms to those under the age of 21 and, more recently, the hiring of lobbyists to sell a gun control message to congressional members on Capitol Hill.

Perhaps they can rename their brand.
I suggest “Pricks”.
What really kills me about these SJW’s @ Dicks is, only a few years back, I held in my hands a replica Tommy-gun they were selling - thought that was the best thing ever ...my how times change.
Now that the Obama inspired gun buying spree is coming to an inevitable end Dicks will eventually realize that their PC move turned into pure BS. They will restart the old policy of gun sales only to find that demand has dried up.
Oh, don’t do that, it just makes you look like a Dick!
Dick’s is learning the same thing supporters of a communist regime learns when the regime takes power. They used you Dick’s.
Awesome....sell more yoga pants, pussy hats, and Prius chargers....
Maybe that Hogg kid will do some commercials for them.

“now if only Glock, Colt, Beretta and S&W would stand up and follow suit”
I’d like to see the ammo companies join in and choke Dick’s.
I positively despise that company and have despised them long before their latest theatrics.
So about ten miles from the coast
Sounds like you described the Sports Authority stores that closed down a year or two ago. I guess their biggest markup is on clothing/accessories/shoes.
Yep! Spot on, FRiend!
This company among so many retailers have been on the decline before this PC idiocy. I went to Dicks years ago for some Softball Equipment and the service was horrible. The only two around were a tattooed and pierced “thing” and a girl who was too good to be working retail to be bothered.
Dick's. How appropriately named.
GOOD!! They are COWARDS!
Couldn’t be more deserving.
One would think business owners would learn to keep their mouths shut.
Our local Dick the Customer Store....
1. mostly a high-priced clothing store, some very high prices
(we purchase one type of clothing since its not readily available elsewhere, but otherwise have to avoid this store)
2. good selection of fishing lures and such
3. firearms were ALREADY limited to single-shot rifles and mostly boring ammo. fine if you’re just shooting clay pigeons I guess. Nice kids selling, knowledge level about 50 percent... you get one wrong answer for each correct answer ... Sort of like some car lots selling only, say, little four-cylinder rice burners. You sure can’t go there to buy your next Vette
4. We will NEVER patronize the Dick again, not after its stupid management insulted us with their anti-2A bullsheet.
They can keep their over=priced clothing!!!
4.
Choosing the wrong side and pandering to leftists has repercussions.
BOYCOTT every one of these leftist supporting drones. The American individual doesn’t have to do business with supporters of liars/frauds/betrayers/traitors.
