You could have stopped right there. The fault with that is thinking that a seceding state, group of states would no longer require its citizens to pay federal taxes. Why would you think that? Taxation without representation? Not wanting to support an immoral corrupt debt-ridden oppressive government? Perhaps you have other reasons for secession, but those would be mine. You are going to have to put some effort into explaining your position if you want some meaningful exchange.

The point is the citizens will pay either to the state house or the federal capital. It is up to the citizen to try and correct the problems of the old Constitution and government.
