Using the military to try citizens in peacetime is crossing the Rubicon. Not saying won't happen, but not only are the legal hurdles substantial, the larger social ramifications are also substantial.Indeed, it would appear to bypass the constitutional rights of the accused.
In wartime, however, it would be necessary. But we don't want to see a true civil war, and I don't think that most sentient adults do either. Granted, the rogue groups like Antifa and BLM might be game for some street battles (until they got whacked by an armed, PO'ed populace anyway), but I doubt that the majority of D, R, or Ind. voters want to go down that road. At least I don't think they would.
