Body language and facial expressions say it all.

Anger and FEAR! Especially Merk and May - lot of fear. Micron looks as though his mind is somewhere in unicorn land (what to speak of pervdom writ large). I’m sort of wondering if he made some kind of private agreement or arrangement with Trump, his mien is a bit different from the two evil harpies.

"Micron" (love that nick) is certainly the odd man out in that pic. I wonder if he knows that France has less exposure in the whole sordid mess (or knows that WE know)?

BTW, that photo looks like it could have been taken on an old BBC set used in a Monty Python skit.

I remain curious on Trump and Macron, given the generosity of the presidential welcome laid out for Macron and the president’s extraordinary *appearance* of respect and regard for the kid from France.

Either the president was making him some kind of offer he couldn’t refuse, a wedge being driven between Macron and the UK/EU girls, or else it was none of that, but a statement for someone unknown, and a showy one.

Musing here, that perhaps Macron was turned. I expect such a thought certainly crossed the mind of the Girls. If remotely true, Macron would have to lay a card out that *appears* to appease them.
