However, imho, humility is worthy the greatest of respect--on a par with being loving.

I don’t value humility. Perhaps at all. I value straightforward honesty and recognition of one’s self worth. And recognition of the worth of others, be that of whatever level. Not to look down or to look up at someone else, but as a straight recognition of reality so that you know how to evaluate their statements.
