Signed up in 2000 during the election and then was overseas during the Sore Loserman hoo-haw. Every hotel had internet, so except for flight periods and a tense period without a connection, I followed along no matter where we were.

What’s the point? The EU has ALWAYS been a Trojan Horse for world government. That is NOT going to be a government of laws or democracy. Our failed experiment to give Iraq a free country should show how UNPREPARED most of the world, and particularly the Muslim world, is for these gifts. The top EU leaders are already UNELECTED.

Chinese are much more homogenous than Europeans. They’ve long had a social conformity matrix.
The communist template came from Marx. The tracking tech came from US. Even the ‘collective capitalism’ (so-called) was cobbled together out of the need to fashion a response to ‘compassionate conservatism’ and to grow the state economy without unbridled competition.
The Chinese people are creative and inherently capitalistic and the rulers needed to clamp down on that while not becoming another NK. They seem to have simply taken it over, applied the social constraint leash and redirected it toward the power of the State.
There is undisguised admiration for the model from our own progs. They would love to see this here in the USA. They would accept a civil war as long as they could ultimately impose a structure like that of VN, another social conformity matrix with creative and capitalistic people being constrained by state power.
