The name of a certain person widely believed to have been an FBI spy planted in the Trump campaign has been widely revealed today. A certain Freeper was the first (cough, cough) to ID the guy here but humility (BLUSH!) keeps me from mentioning his name.
However, Your Humble Correspondent out of curiosity did a search of that FBI spy on YouTube and guess what? NO videos appear on the search using his name after about a year ago. So let me get this straight. A person whose name has become viral on the Web somehow does NOT appear in any recent YouTube videos? Out of the hundreds of thousands of YouTubers who would probably be interested in discussing this FBI spy, none put up a video about him today?
Coincidence or is some devious YouTube algorithm taking down any video uploaded in which his name is mentioned?

Recent videos? Because I found none despite the fact there must be many attempting to post videos on this topic today.

Yeah, but those videos are not about his role as FBI spy despite his name going viral on the Web in this regard today. You mean NOBODY is discussing this today on YouTube.
The name is Stefan Halper who is an American in London.
Sundance at the Conservative Treehouse did a stellar job of connecting the dots and linking a lot of information about him. Sundance also referenced the Daily Caller report but he added much more.
PJ-Comix, thanks for staying on top of this but please clarify that the secret source is not necessarily himself physically placed inside the Trump campaign but that he, Stefan Halper, pulled all the strings and came up with the lies that went to Brennan, to the FISA court, that resulted in a spy (Carter Page) placed within the Trump campaign. In other words, Halper was the ‘source’.
The importance of knowing who is the ‘source’ lies in the ability to detain him for questioning and offer plea deals to make him sing. He can bring the whole matter of the coup, the Mueller probe, and Russian collusion farce to a halt because he set it all in motion.
The only data point that doesn’t fit is a WAPO report that President Trump gave his ‘assent’ to not revealing the name of Stefan Halper. It doesn’t matter that we know the name, what matters is that it hasn’t yet been officially confirmed. The reason for not officially confirming his name (if the WAPO report is even true or accurate) in my thinking is that President Trump wants his people to ‘time’ the disclosure after they have the goods on Halper to get him to sing.
Possibly because it's Friday night? There's a reason document dumps happen on Friday nights. If it has legs it will percolate over the weekend.
That post shows there are Halper videos on youtube in April 2018 but it does not appear on search of “Stefan Halper” unless adding in bill walton.

When I read the letter to Nunes and saw that the White House approved, and that the disclosure might interfere with a current investigation, I decided in about 2 seconds that something major is coming down, and AG Sessions is not asleep at the switch.

I think on this, Sessions is standing aside while Huber and others collect evidence.
Jeff seems to be more and more getting in gear with the President’s missives. We just need to get over his recusal which has caused so much trouble. If Halper can be made to talk, this whole matter comes to a close and Sessions’s recusal becomes moot.

Well, the part about him wanting to protect his identity is pretty much over but WHY is YouTube now apparently trying to keep his ID a secret?

If Halper can be made to talk, the people behind him can be prosecuted and the whole coup and collusion farce come to a halt.
