'Sexuality educator' Deanne Carson says she works with families to 'set up a culture of consent' in homes
TYPICALLY when a babys nappy needs changing, you go ahead and change it no questions asked.
But one sexuality expert has left parents baffled after claiming they should ask their babies for permission before they change their dirty nappies.
Deanne Carson works with children to understand the issues of consent and describes herself as a sexuality educator, speaker, and author on Twitter.
Discussing her work in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Deanne said she works with children from three years old and parents from birth to raise awareness of consent.
When questioned about their young age, Deanne said that she works with families to set up a culture of consent in their homes".
She recommends parents say:Im going to change your nappy now, is that okay?
While she acknowledged that a baby is unlikely to actually give consent, Deanne suggests parents "leave a space and wait for body language and wait to make eye contact then youre letting that child know that their response matters.
Bemused viewers were quick to take to Twitter, with one commenting: Im not hearing this right surely.
Another added: Absolute lunacy. The world has gone completely mad.
What the experts really mean is they want others to ask these so-called experts first before changing their own “nappies”.
Leftism disease in bright pink hair.
Now I’m confused. When my babies needed/wanted their diapers changed, they cried and screamed. So, does crying and screaming mean “yes” or “no” when it comes to giving assent for touching and sexuality and personal space? Inquiring minds want to know. *Rolls eyes*
You owe me a keyboard. I’m picking one out on Amazon right now. Just tell me where to send the bill.
Looks like he missed a few hundred thousand.
I could not think of what color her hair was other than purple. Thanks. I have two kids and a grand daughter. They’re a pain in the arse but a least the grand daughter has a saving grace; she’s cute.
So what would would that make the Aussies?
Is it April 1? I don’t take advice from fuscia colored hair people or teens who eat Tide Pods...
“experts” know everything. Much more so than the silly masses.
Millions I would say.
If the baby’s still in diapers, it’s too young to grant anything.
LOL!!!
I doubt she knows anything about babies. You can’t get pregnant eating carpet.
Hahah :)
