That came out wrong. What I was trying to say is that the PARENTS pay nothing for the schools. Sure, they pay taxes to government entities...but they normally do not pay anything DIRECTLY to the schools - so the schools don’t answer to the parents, and why should they - the schools will answer to the people who write the checks to them, which are the POLITICIANS.
OK, no problem....I thought you were talking about teacher’s pay, which varies from place to place and state to state across the country.
