Thank you mardie. I enjoyed that interlude. I briefly went to art school and dabbled in oils and art history. Her watercolors are amazing. Liked seeing her work chronologically.
I’m so glad you liked it, weston. Only took studio classes as part of my art history/physics major. They wanted us to know how to do everything the artists we studied did. Rabbit skin glue! Yuck! Did you see the lines she drew UNDER the watercolors, and the note on the pink snow roof. Some paintings are so identical that I wondered if she used tracing paper from her sketches onto the actual canvas. She gessoed and sanded her canvases a dozen times! She was making sure they lasted.
