Yes, the “Q clearance” bs was always one of the tells. Someone in DOE would not be in the mix for all the myriad aspects supposedly being dealt with by “Q” team.
Then of course there are many adolescent outbursts, many mistakes of fact and detail, many odd statements that would never come from someone working at the highest levels of US national security and govt, etc. Q incompetence when discussing certain military and strategic issues, etc.
A Q clearance is not a big deal.

If someone thinks a Q clearance is some super duper sit on the top of the pyramid and know and see all they’re wrong! Such a clearance doesn’t exist. For one thing it violates the compartmentation (need-to-know) security principle!

Fyi, TS-SCI is not trivial; I’ve had one twice. Once as Military, once as civillian. But it’s not an all access pass. Which compartments you’ve been approved for is everything.
TS means you passed the extensive anal exam, up to your throat. The SCI takes over—which compartments are you granted access to. Can be few, or (bigwigs) lots.
But even Congressmen with TS-SCI can’t go into 99% of compartments. They get granted here and there, after proving need to know, and some kissing the ring. They are VERY compartmentalized, by comittee and chair. Gowdy has extensive permissions. Schumer even more. Maxine? Uh not so much.
Some DOE guy won’t get far.
