It’s no news that the tawdry and indecent get their biggest buzz from parodying the sacred. That’s what “transgressive” is all about.
To me, these glitterbawds are as interesting as spiders eating flies. I look and immediately wish I hadn’t.
Using their language means we’ve lost the battle. “Cultural appropriation” as a castigation is an evil of itself.
