$650 Million.....................

I liked him in Willy Wonka. That was about it. The rest was over-acting. Well, so was that one, but the quirkiness worked better for me.

He was pretty good in “Black Mass”.I think that that’s the only time I’ve ever seen him.

Yes, its true. A fool and his money are soon parted.
Also, the most memorable “break out” role from “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” was Leo DiCaprio

Yeah, he was good in that one. Too bad the script sucked and and the movie was boring.
To: Red Badger
how can a star who has reputedly earned more than $650m struggle to pay his bills?
Lawyers.
Kinda like a vacuum machine but it only picks up cash.

I have never liked Depp. So not a dime of my money went into his earnings.

He gets the strange parts that are practically made just for him.
Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, the Mad Hatter, Captain Jack Sparrow, Benny and Joon, et al..................

Kind of reminds me of Marlon Brando.

He might be a drug adict and a irresponsible employer, but he’s got a huge heart and does a lot of charity work. He often visits hospitals for terminally ill children dressed as Cap’n Jack. The looks on their little faces brings tears to my eyes. Good on’im, I say.
To: Red Badger
Often times plaintiffs were forced to protect Depp from himself Forced? FORCED?
I doubt it. Unless there's another definition of "forced" that I don't know about.
Wanting to keep your job if you don't do something requested is not "force".
To: mass55th
Yes, the ‘Brando’ simile has been made many times..................

Never Trump curse claims another.
To: Red Badger
Johnny Depp is a very talented actor. Ed Wood is one of my absolute favorites. He apparently didn’t have the moral strength to handle all that money. Too bad for him.
