I am approaching the AARP mark. Which I’ve always thought is “too young”, but I guess they just want to grease the skids.

I guess they just want to grease the skids. AARP is mainly a liberal Democrat lobbying group. The larger their membership numbers, then more clout they have with Congress. The more membership dues they collect the more 'clout' they have with individual, influential congressmen.
