I had no idea a COUP happened in Turkey. This film pretty much explains the situation. I'll try to find out more information. Darn..I now have to translate and find good information. Sort of like a blind walk.

It was a purge and a FAILED coup. Many put in prison or killed. Kurds targeted. Set up actually to weed out good guys so Erdogan could be dictator.
