The Q-drop referrd not only to their names, but also to their Committee membership. Reps are term limited to 6 years as chair of any House committee.

Trey Gowdy is not term limited out of Oversight chair.
Both moves make room for somebody else to assume those roles.
Judiciary is the traditional committee for initiating articles of impeachment. Maybe part of the plan for uniting the people is to allow (maybe even invite) impeachment, if the House flips in November. Conviction will never happen. Then the score would be even and the lunatics in the DEM party can move on.
It's easy to lose sight of the fact that the GOP is as much the enemy of Trump as the DEM party. The party system has done the American people nothing but damage.
And not to say Trump deserves to be impeached. Far from it. Just thinking about how to deal with utterly irrational hearts and minds.

The congress is such a tangled web of uni-party freaks that it really is the wild card.
We are getting really close to the mid-terms and I am not sure there are enough good guys that have stepped up to take the places of everyone leaving. I could be wrong.
If we could get the chairs filled by Trump backers it would be great, just not sure it is possible in the current climate.
Maybe this is the time to let them try their impeachment ploy and get it over with. They only get one shot and they are not going to shut up til they make the attempt.

Lunatics can never move on. Any small success makes them hungry for bigger ones. Any losses make them dangerous as they try to find a path back to their goal. I see NOTHING good that would come from letting them attempt impeachment. Imagine, for a moment, that Trump slips up at a crucial moment and gives the lunatics a small reason that they could blow up into a huge one. That is the moment that they would strike. Don’t let them get that close.
