My thinking is that Trump & Mattis are using some secret weapons to take out the threats of NK and Iran. In the end, it may all look like he did it with Tweets ... but that is not actually credible.
Thinking about that mountain in NK that “collapsed” right before Kim stopped the missile testing. Drones were seen in the area. Rods from God?
Then there are the mysterious happenings in Syria and Iran (reputedly taking out secret Iran nuclear program in Syria). An earthquake in the middle of all this? Seriously?
The bad guys, including Russians and Chinese, are getting the message. The RISK here is that in exposing futuristic weapons we stimulate development of countermeasures.
Strategically, once a new weapon is exposed it may make sense to keep using it while we can. To me, this would include taking out Iran’s underground nuclear sites ASAP ... or as soon as the non-treaty is terminated and they start making threats.
